Bit of a lucky one this, with Darkangel again. We were looking at finding an enterance to the 'Tile Mine' in Hanley and walking around to its rear we came across this building.
Well access was easy so it would have been rude not to have a poke round.
It looks to have closed in 2006 according to the most recent paper found
and before being a rehab it was a glass window place
Seems they couldnt be bothered to remove all the Faltec signs when the place changed hands.
Plenty of anti-drug and drink posters.
The burly one made me laugh, and reminded me of a drink campaign that is a few years old.
Good advice
Poem about getting off the drugs.
Arty shot.
seems someone is living there now, the milk was dated use by today.
This is an interesting explore, especially when you start looking through the posters that have been hand made by the guys and gals who attended it.
A fair bit of it smells of fire, due to several being started throughout the building. These however dont appear to have damaged the building any. They appear more to have been created for warmth more than anything else.
