Allied Mills, Ainscough flour mill Burscough visited with Hidden shadow on a very miserable wet day. despite the weather i really enjoyed this site, i was surprised how much is left as i have read how much it had been trashed but it still had a lot to offer there are clear signs that machinery had gone as there holes on every floor top to bottom leaving this place a death trap with rotten floors you really do need to watch your step and don't evan get me started on the cobwebs it's full of them like something from Indiana jones...dirty spiders.
This mill may not have the charm as the hull mill but still a nice way to spend a few hours if your in the area, theres not a great deal of history it closed down in 1998 and is under the ownership of persimmon homes and may be turned into apartments..
