Suh dudes and dudettes,

Took a day trip today to loads of different cities and Wales. Bristol being one of them, we decided to check out Almondsbury Care Home. Once being a grand housing location for the ederly soon came to an end. It's a beautiful building (both of them) and a real nice explore even with the shit load of graffiti. Just on our way to Talgarth Lunatic Asylum and some other locations around the area.

History
Built around 1580 for John Dowel of Bristol in Almondsbury, and after a devastating fire in 1977, it was demolished in 1980. All that remains are the listed archway, the old coach house and stables.

Explore
Easy and relaxed explore with good company. Sun was shining so great for pictures (even if my pictures aren't nearly as good as other peoples on here). We were there for about an hour before moving on so was a good pit stop all in all. Enjoy...

Before this place was sold in June 2015, I and 11 other people and a dog lived here as property guardians.

Its heart breaking to see the place that was our home, and venue of many a party and BBQ, and also the home of my design consultancy for 3 years, in this state.

The room most burnt out upstairs used to be our lounge where we would play video games and watch movies. Naturally we had loads of BBQs on the balcony, and even set up a massive cinema in the garden which we watched from the balcony. The room with the overturned table is where I worked.

If anyone is interested, I could probably dig up some photos from our time there before it was trashed.
