We found this old abandoned ammunition depot in Brasside, Durham, Near Frankland prison. It was a ministry of supply ammunition depot for new ammunition and bulk explosives for the Royal Ordnance Factories during World War ll. It was pretty cool, lots to explore! There was a lot of old farming machinery around, broken static caravans, old coaches etc...
There isn’t anywhere to park other than on the grass verges. You can get in by climbing over a broken down piece of fence just passed the locked gate.

Hi, great photos! Me and a friend have just been here today and unfortunately only snapped a few pics before being approached by a couple with a dog and being told to leave. Said it was private property, although no signs anywhere indicated that. Can I ask if you had this issue and how you managed to get so many pics?
