The Annexe centre/Spiral Arts centre in Gillingham, Kent. It was a nursery school and community art centre. From what I've found online, it was abandoned in around 2009 and then went up in flames a few months later. That being said, there were a lot of belongings we found still in the building ranging from shoes to books and toys.

Most of it is burnt out and what isn't has been trashed. The fire ripped through a good three quarters of the building, leaving one area relatively untouched which appeared to be a kitchen/storage room type area and another couple of rooms branching off of a narrow corridor. I didn't venture in to this section as it had a rather healthy population of wasps buzzing around, and what looked like relatively new bedding, food wrappers and bottled water. Coupled with a tent pitched in a grassy area out the back it looked like the site is inhabited by some local homeless folks. We didn't see any on the day but after that we made a swift exit just in case they returned while we were still there.
