This was a permission visit of the old Argos in Chatham
With the permission of the manager of the GSA charity, I was allowed into the building to take some photographs of what it used to look like before they transformed it into their new charity shop, which replaced the old Argos building.
I met the manager, whom I know, and they gave me access to explore the building. I was amazed to discover that Argos had much more in store than I had ever noticed! I never realized how large the building actually was. While I knew a few people who worked there, that was about it.
I spent an hour wandering around, exploring each floor to see what remnants were left behind. Although most of the items had already been stripped away, I was particularly surprised by the little café on the top floor. Even though the place closed down in January 2022, I found papers and other items dating back to 2001—nothing from the current date was present.

So Argos Chatham was in Chatham high street for over 30 years and closed its doors in January 2022, it happened to be one of the 405 stores that shut its doors, to save money, there are only 100 stand-alone stores left
The Chatham branch moved into a Sainsbury's store.
