Its been on the market now for about a year. I went past there mid feb and it is boarded up.

An Arriva spokeswoman for Arriva Buses Wales admitted “there has not been much interest” from possible buyers in the site. There were rumours that Tesco could be interested in purchasing the depot as they have already confirmed they are looking to move from their current premises in Llandudno Junction, as the store is over trading and they need a bigger site, but the rumour seemed to have little foundation in reality.

There are now worries the site on Glan y Mor road, could become a boarded up eyesore, in what is still a largely residential area.

One resident in Vale Road who didn’t wish to be named said: “The site has never been an oil painting but the residents are used to it being open.

“I hate the idea of it being boarded up and left to rot.”
