Had a look round this old factory, used to produce synthetic fibres. Started production in 1974 and closed down in Nov. 1997.
It was amazing how such a big plant could just cease operations so suddenly, calenders in offices had Nov. 23rd marked in with intresting little notes scribbled alongside.

There is eveidence that a salvage company may be starting to clear it out.
It is mostly untouched, offices look as if someone just never turned up for work one day, mostly in good condition apart from dampness. Within the facility are labs, workshops, canteens, changing rooms and an impressive factory floor.

view from the upper floor.

Corridor to offices.

Goin' gets tough!
