After seeing the reports by 'curry' and 'nailz' decided to take a walk up here today. After getting past the flute-playing stone-huggers found the bunker and went down the hatch...

Luckily the damage is superficial. It looks like the observers pasted up an extra layer of polystyrene and it is this that has been vandalised... so please, if you visit this bunker DO NOT peel the tiles off - leave them there to get graffed up - so that if anybody restores this place, there job will be far easier.

Someone asked whether any of the telecoms kit is still in there... No theres nothing whatsoever of any relevance.

went here about 4 years ago, which is still many years after these photos, and looking much the same but with about 6 inches of putrid water on the floor

the water in here is also stagnant and bubbles when disturbed so be careful
