Sorry couldn't find much info on this but I did read an article that stated in 2005 the site received planning permission for a skyscraper, obviously it was never granted
and I'm unsure who currently owns it or what the plans for the site are but it has been unused for many years
Wish I could get a bit more info as I believe there has been no report on this site since 2010 but I'm sure Alley knows more so will hopefully post some info for you all
