My 2nd visit to this Post. It has changed very much in 12 months!
Not long ago, the Post was listed as for sale on eBay. But the seller posted photos of the Post in it's original condition. It was, in fact completely ruined - with the Compound tipped with rubble and the Shaft filled to a depth of 1 foot with soil.
After this was reported to eBay, the owner has made some effort to sort the Post out. The soil has been removed and some rubble has been shifted from the Hatch. The counterweight mechanism has also been removed, we suspect for cleaning.
It is by no means perfect, but it sure has improved!
