This was my first ever exploration of any kind and thought the best place to start would be Barrow Hospital as it's local to where I live.

I took the trip alone and to be honest at times found the place rather eerie, especially as the sun started to fade and the wind picked up.

The image of the axes on the path leading into the grounds are not staged. I imagine someone put them there to try and scare the shit out of a newb like myself. Guess what... They succeeded!

Even though I was bricking it for the few hours I was there, the adrenalin rush was incredible and I now see why you guys do what you do on this forum. It was also a deep privilege to access the site and photograph images of times forgotten.

Now I need to find a new location in the South West.
If any of you guys have any recommendations I would really appreciate it.

Cheers

Dan
