General - Basingstoke Canal!!!

Soon i will be visiting Basingstoke Canal on a relaxing canal boat (lucky me ha) so i will be taking some epic photos of the pill poxes and tank defenses.

The military buildings include things like............

All photos are internet sourced, but in a few weeks i will have photos of all the pill boxes along Basinstoke canal (and many more than i have in this thread!!!)

I'm not quite sure of the point of this thread....

If I am reading this correctly, you are doing the following:-

1. telling us about a visit you plan on doing.
2. have filled the thread with other people's pictures

Rather odd...Why not just wait until you have actually been where you are going and then post a report.

Sounds Ok to me. The canal was a stop line I guess?

As OT said was a stop line to slow down advancing troops/tanks
