Battersea Power Station - Pictures 2007/08

Heres some pictures from a 'recent' trip in.....I have some more but thought I'd up these as a starter....as someone was interested in what she looks like now.
Have to say I was a little dissapointed to see some blatent acts of mindless vandalism/chavism... ...I do like this site (sorry OT)and I would hate to see it get even harder to explore than it already is...
Went up to the base (excuse the pun) of one of the Chims.....Ive only got one more to do to complete the set ! and got a few snaps...
Skys were pretty so gandered around the lower levels to take in what ultimatley steals your view wherever you go....those chims against the sky !

Went in again last night with a non 28DL'r who had always wanted to visit the powerstation......request granted
Whatever filming was happening in there recently has stopped....the station is back to its former completely deserted state (for now anyway)...no trucks/demol plant around at all.

After watching the back end of the Battersea Park Firework display
( quite impressive, but I failed miserably to do it justice in pictures..)
...we had a nosey around Control Room A and up the South West Chimney (again..)
Lovely evening....so heres the pics...
If you are treading the same route....be advised that its clear previous visits have been noticed, but not completely guarded against...obviously.
