After talking to a Friend he mentioned that he went Fishing and played in a "Fort" when he was a Boy and that there was a fair bit to see in Bawdsey East Lane if I was intrested. So a few months ago I went for a wander and found this little lot.
I don't have any back story or other information on the site, can anyone shed any light on this?

Here are the Pics.

Pillbox with a lookout Tower in the background.

A local Artist apparently added the "Prisoner of War" Steelwork for an exhibition he held a few years ago.

Across the Car Park was the "Fort" mentioned by my Friend.

Found this earlier this year with number7, would like to know more about the prisoner of war metal work in the watch tower. Found this photograph of the gun that was used there. Great site, good photos.
