For my first venture into exploring I decided to visit East Lane at Bawdsey. I visited a few months back but have only recently decided to join a forum to share my pictures and hopefully find some new places to explore and friends to explore with.
I live in one of the neighboring villages and can remember playing in and around these bunkers when growing up. A second visit is being planned as I didn't have a torch or wellies to explore the tunnel system and didn't fancy getting soggy socks.
I don't know much about the history of the site, can anyone help out?
