Saunders Roe was a marine & aviation engineering company originally based on the Isle of Wight.​

Saunders Roe concentrated on producing flying-boats, but none were produced in very large quantities.​

Closed in 1997 there site in Beaumaris has remained derelict.

Fantastic pictures! Shame the site isnt much more than just some empty warehouses

There is huge house just on the outskirts of this site that looks empty, possibly some high ranking military officers house when this site was operational. Good report though, I had a look around a while back and some local farmer was storing machinery in there.

MrDevla I thought the house was occupied? or so iv'e been told. We only saw it from a distance.

yer the place is gutted but still very interesting visit
