Bit of an old report this one, hope noone minds too much. It didn't seem to receive too much attention on here, so as I was going through my old pics it seemed prudent to stick it up for your delectation.
Likely started in 1879, the brewery has an interesting and complex history. Headed originally by Alexander Anderson, a scotsman, one Theodore Bunning took management in 1883 and led the place to much greater successes until his death, and the passing of ownership to Shipstones, in 1922.

Beeston Maltings ceased operation in the late 20th century. According to wikipedia, the buildings were scheduled for demolition in 2007, but no progress appears to have been made on this front.
