This was our 3rd explore of the day. The Wombat had surveyed it a few days earlier and said it was small and we'd have to bend over slightly.

Slightly?

I'm astonished this escaped my radar for so long considering I walk past it so much and it's so close to the footpath I use.
It goes under a railway embankment on the old Notts to Northampton line, closed by Beeching in the 60's, south of the Merefield Junction headed towards Tilton on the Hill station. Further downstream you have the Merefield culvert and there seems to be loads on culverts in the area. It's a wierd one as there is 7/8 bends including 2 'S' bends, I think the designer was on the piss that day.
The portal on the South side had a lot of fallen masonry and in the centre we found more. Nice little explore, deceivingly long.
