Blackborough manor is a grade 2 listed building in Devon, hosting 60 rooms-most of which we were lucky enough to explore :)
We set out so excited for this explore as it's been on our 'to do list' for a while. We managed to have a good look around the now sad looking building before we were shouted at for trespassing and removed from the property. We should have guessed someone would catch us. There were many signs someone was working on the place-dog bowls laying vacant, dumper trucks, and a huge suv in the front (this is where the owner stays to keep an eye).
Blackborough is an amazing building but is sadly being taken over by mother nature. Floors were very wobbly, it's amazing to think a family lived like this (rumour has it they only used a few rooms due to parts being uninhabitable) still the place has lovely features left: fire places, stair cases, port windows and a picture of an old lady, (which looks like it's been hanging for a life time) looks like she keeps an eye on the place. (Would love to have known who she was) anyway I could talk about this place for ages, but I'll get to the photos. It's hard to choose which ones to post as I took so many! So here's a few of blackborough manor-enjoy.
Thanks to j&s for this one :)
