Blackburn Royal Infirmary visited on a very wet and dull day and to be honest it would be a bit of an exaggeration to call this a hospital due to the fact that most has long since been demolished only leaving the grade listed wing left, this however was well worth the visit small but charming if nothing else the main reception with it's very impressive dome alone is worth the visit, the rest of this wing has a lot of charm but has been raped by people stealing the wire, we found two set's of home made ladders made for the job.The wing stand's in limbo waiting for development which may happen but i doubt it.

Opened 1865
Closed 2006
Status demolished/development?
