Really should check my emails more often here is some (crap) photos (will get better) of south toilets as said oposite south pier shouldn’t be to hard to get in from the top? Think the grates are just laid on top

In other news, this was spotted today on the old Yates site; think it’s a old Bit of tram line that appears to be holding up the roof of a old tunnel or storage area?

More than likely that was part of the cellars beneath Yates's rather than a tunnel, there used to be a restaurant down there years ago called Carriages, perhaps this was part of that or a storage area associated with it. The toilets opposite South Pier though - they intrigue me, I don't remember them when they were open but I can't see a grate in the picture, it looks more like a concrete slab - or am I looking at it in the wrong place?

Thanks, just strange how it looks like a bit of tram rail is holding up the roof, there was a tram line up there but not that close by far, as for south pier toilets they are metal slabs, very rusty, I will pop back up that way soon and get better photos! - photo attached is one I created of the Trams then and now running along Clifton street the site where the cellers/tunnel are rumourEd to be - oh and a bonus is the arty farty photo update to the Yates site

Nice pics mate, that alleyway at the back of the Yates's site has a horrible reputation, it's one of the places the Police say kids should avoid as the local takeaway workers (not all of them obviously) have historically used it and others nearby to groom young girls, it's one of the area's that Charlene Downes was known to frequent with them and local schools now, very wisely give talks to the kids, telling them to avoid the area like the plague

i'm assuming these were discovered during work on the tramway extension to north station?

Awaiting the usual comments of, blackpool underground looks better than blackpool topside, or has Blackpool undergone any regeneration at all in the past years? I did hear something about a casino a while back?

They had to open and fill in the toilet block so they could relay tram lines above (old lines were present not used for a lot of years) new line as seen in photo will run up to north rail station photo taken the other day

Are modern trams running now, or are some of the vintage ones still running now? As for the manc square sewage/stormwater ps, it would make sense it is all locked down. Have heard similar has happened with UU sites in greater manchester area.

modern, new trams circa 2012 on revenue earning services
original vintage trams on charters, excursions & illuminations specials.
