While staying in Antwerp we decided to give this a go since it was covered in scaff. Went up there late one night with The_Raw, Sentinel and Elliot. Boerentoren (farmers tower) AKA the KBC Tower is considered Europe's first skyscraper and was the tallest on the continent between 1932 and some point in the 50's when it was overtaken by a pair built in the USSR. Currently standing at about 350 feet, the roof is being expanded by several floors at the moment.

I actually didn't grab a shot of the exterior... U_U - not mine, copyright Erf-goed.be, creative commons license. The roof now extends several levels higher.

Walking across a rather dodgy gangway towards the tower proper.

Towards the top of the structure, Elliot on then next level.

Looking into the top level office, luckily no one home. :D

The KBC sign.

The Cathedral of our Lady.

Antwerp, nothing else high up in this town really!

Cheers for reading. :)
