Been on my list since I last came to Bradford between July & August 2016, but never got round to returning
visited with @ACID- REFLUX thankyou for doing this with me & providing the 4gas.

The Bowling beck is a tributary of the Bradford beck,
which duals as a combined sewer for the eastern side.
The infall consists of a stoopy brick pipe which merge's with the combined sewer & continues as a concrete culvert,
there's a lot of water leaking through the culvert inc 2 discharging pipes.

one of 2 stoopy brick pipes which continue towards the infall

I was wanting to follow this,
but on prodding tripod in the stagnant water I knew it would of breached my thigh waders.

What's that stuff on the floor, with your boot/shoe prints in it? S***e? Or sediment? Looks a bit like sand, but not quite dense enough?

Bradford must get some serious storm flow. In that Hong kong report on the international sites, the outfall had a big tumbling steps feature, just before the outfall. I assume these steps act as a baffle in drains?

Brickwork, stonework, concrete segments, overflows, tumbling bays, big junctions and archimedes bloody screws - got everything this. Nice report :thumb
