The 'original' Bradgate House was built in the 1850's and demolished in 1926. Bradgate 'New' House looks to be of 1930's construction. The building looks to have spent the last few years as mixed office use, the last company to operate from Bradgate House were a security firm with the rather imaginative name of Bradgate Security. The most obvious attraction here are the large, imposing stables. I visited these too but won't include any snaps as they were reported on very thoroughly by @HughieD here:

Visited on a baking hot Sunday morning. The only thing that stopped the explore being completely awful was the once very posh exterior, the size of the place and the outbuildings. I find it amazing how such a huge, posh place can just be left to be battered by the local kids and the metal fairies.

A bonus was the little garage business nearby being open. Seems to have been vacant since 2004 and although there wasn't loads to see it was in rather good nick. The main workshop had a huge car lift but I didn't photograph it.

There was also a small lodge house, but no entry on this occasion. From here I went to the stables :thumb

The whole house was Redland Aggregates offices, then later Lafarge when they bought them out. I believe the garage was the area company fleet workshop. It must have been about 2003 they closed the offices down, not much has happened there since, which is odd for such a large site!

Good info mate, was struggling to find any additional history on the place. Would've loved to have seen it pre derp!
