Im a bit of a car guy as some of you will know so this was a rather nice find by my partner in crime.
While people were visiting Medlers this place lays a stones throw away & is prob one of the best UK vehicle graveyards Iv visited. well until a recent find anyway ;-)

I cant find a thing about this place but I assume it was open to the public at some point, maybe someone local can enlighten me?
I do know that there was in excess of 200 cars here, but my only regret is that we only covered a small area of the yard.

So why didnt we do more? there was someone living in a caravan in the centre of the site & the generators were running.
No big deal? this was the guy that owns the site.

In retrospect he was prob already under lock & key by this point, but as my lad was with us we were not taking any chances.
We did find trip wires between some of the cars which was slightly unnerving.
What we did get to see was an impressive array of rare (mostly Jap) & highly desirable metal!

Was a few American cars there to keep @mookster happy

yep Iv been in touch with a guy who bought one of them. not sure why u would choose a bluebird from all the cars there though

Very nice. Ive done a few vehicle sites myself. Never reported them though as history is hard to find. These are great. The news article is really confusing. Curious now as too what occurred and why in the end. Sounds really fucked up.

Thanks Jane, they are not everyone's cup of tea but Im a bit of a petrol head.
Strange this one being such a big yard & presumably a registered business I cant find anything about it.
Im sure someone else more intelligent will be able to though.

Id heard the guy was a bit of a nutcase & had "threatened someone with a gun" but I assumed this was at the yard which is why we were super careful.

Haha its not a Goon Channel, but a car channel but he does go around and find the occasional scrap yard. I think it might be the Grays one in the other thread. Funnily enough just checking the channel it looks like he's pulled the video !
