Back in 2019 I did a couple of visits to Brickdale House in Stevenage which was once a office building now converted into a apartment building.
Brickdale House was built in 1966 as a DHSS (Department Of Health And Social Security) and the HM Land Registry Offices, In 2011 the building had now been put up for sale or for let and rent as the DHSS or now known as DWP (Department Of Work Pensions) had moved else where and the same with the HM Land Registry.
In 2015 work had began on converting in the building into apartments however the Land Registry side would be renamed Skyline House with 150 apartments in total and a car park belonging to Skyline House and the DHSS side would still be called Brickdale House and was built a extra two floors taller which would make the building 5 floors tall instead of 3 floors tall except Brickdale House had 54 apartments inside and no car park as it was for commuters only.
By late 2016 Brickdale House and Skyline House was completed as new apartments and was opened to the public in early 2017.
