Bristol General Hospital was opened in 1832, taking only patients from Bristol. Recent use was as a convalescent hospital for stroke victims and the elderly. The site has just been sold, and will soon be redeveloped as luxury apartments.

It's still an active hospital at the moment, and there's gotta be plenty more to be looked at before it all gets closed tighter than a gnat's chuff, but while wandering round I spotted an interesting door

Which led into a disused Xray Department, in cellar vaults under the car park.

Today, Children, let's look through the very, very thick radiation-proof Round Window :)
