Been meaning to have a look in here for about five years or so.. well better late than never!

Built in 1922 by the Bristol Waterworks Co to supply fresh water to Sandford and beyond from the Bristol water reservoirs at Chew Magna, The tunnel is some 450m long with a 3' cast iron sectional pipe to carry the water running the whole length.


Nothing too interesting but at least its off that yard long list! :)

Stood right outside the gates to this as I write! Let's just say it's had somewhat of a lock upgrade :)
