Completed my first urban explore yesterday at a disused power station in Merseyside. It was a solo trip just me and the camera and im really happy with some of the shots I got, especially with it been my first trip. Have added some of the pictures I got. If anyone has any suggestions of places to visit I'd appreciate it

Hi, welcome to 28 Days Later.
Not bad for a first report, just a few things - the site name is required in the title, along with the month and year of your visit. I've gone ahead and added these. We quite like it when a bit of history about the site is included in the write-up.
Cheers for posting

Nice shots! The colours are fantastic. Nice bit of graff. I’d love to check this place out at some point.

Welcome to the site!

Did you not venture into the other building there, the pumping station? Arguably better than the control room.

Forgive me if reading the report or title in error, not meant to cast doubt at all, now cleared up, thanks.

Forgive me if reading the report or title in error, not meant to cast doubt at all, but a power station with a pumping station, or a pumping station seperately? Let us discuss these...and sumps 😃🤣

Power stations have many different ancillary buildings, it was once part of the power station.

Thank you, I was unsure whether to add the name of the place or not, noted for next time

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Unfortunately I didn't go into the pump station as a few have questioned so maybe I will head back over the next few weeks solely for this purpose and will post some pictures

From reading the pump station may have been for abstracting water from the Mersey, I think, for condensers. I was thinking more a sewage pumping station, rofl 🤣
