Report - Bull & Butcher pub / Ashoka restaurant, Burnley - Nov 2015

[GK_WAX]

History:
The bull & butcher pub and Ashoka was a very popular throughout Burnley with its well known bonfires and its delicious Indian cuisine, Sadly the recession hit and it ceased trading in 2010. The building has been empty since but was in the media last year due to an arson attack which caused damage to an outer building at the rear of the property.
there has been plans very recent to re-open as an Italian creating 33 full-time jobs.

The visit:
After a night on the booze and waking up early i decided to go and have a wander this was not one of the places i had in mind but thought to check it out to see if it was accessable and to my suprise it was! after years of being boarded up with steel sheets over the windows & doors etc. It was a decent explore with a calm atmosphere inside and being on my own thats just how i wanted it, spending some time not just taking photos but reminiscing about the good times a had here in the past.

@Vulex we didn't tell him where it was its well known pal , bit we had to get out and in doing so created an entry point otherwise it would still be sealed up tight

we only did the door to get out , the window was already done its been that way since spring just never got around to going bacl until last week lol

ya not wrong there pal, all the character has been well and truly stripped away , but I bet those loft spaces above the restaurant are proper nice with all the beams still in place cant get up there tho
