We had planned a day doing some landscape shots around the Peak District and realised we were right by this small water works so thought we'd have a look in. Only a small place set back off the road, not one I'd go out of my way for but if your passing its probably worth a quick stop...

The History
No idea on the history of this place, its name or even whether its actually classed as Buxton or Harpur Hill to be honest.. No sign of any names on the building and cant seem to find anything online.. bit annoying..

Great set there. Water treatment places are really unique and there's loads to see here. Good work mate.

That's the Pumping Station on Grinlow Road, Ladmanlow, Burbage, Buxton. It was used to service Stanley Moor Reservoir which could be seen off Axe Edge, the Buxton to Leek road.
