Came accross this unexpectedly after a failed access to a nearby tower block live demolition site, a kind of poor consolation prize in the fading light of day. Fetid Pit of Despair here we come...

History gleaned & translated as best possible from Chinese Wiki: Built in 1990 as staff quarters for a local bank these 72 furnished apartments were sold to a Taiwanese company for HK$2.4billion in 1993 before ever seeing occupancy.

The surrounding location is home to some of the worlds highest value real estate and the apartments in their current layout being too small & basic to be of any rentable value has owners sitting tight over decades as the land price sky rockets and current apartments fall apart.
