Last winter,I took an urban exploration trip around Europe.
Castle of Mesen in Belgium was one of the most amazing sites I'll never forget...
I'd already heard that the site was partly/mostly demolished and even there was a community in Facebook which is trying to stop it from being demolished if my memory is correct.
When I visit there, maybe because it was around New Year's day, there were only a few local people around the station and no one was working in the site fortunately so I had no difficulty in getting in there through the small opening in the fence.
The site was surrounded by the wall.
I couldn't understand what they said and even didn't know which language they were...
This part was almost demolished.
I like these kinda window with green.
The ground floor.
I don't know why they were demolishing like this way but ironically they make this sites more beautiful.
It was so stunning...
You gotta be careful in first floor.
The view from the top.
I couldn't manage to get there cos the floor was already demolished.
don't remember for sure but maybe I took them in the basement.
You can see they are carry on demolishing cos there were a lot of stuff there.
The view from the outside.
I don't know what is going on with this site. They might have started demolishing it after New Year's day but I really hope this beautiful site are preserved...
But when you try this site, just be careful!
All the floor was fragile and decayed.
I was lucky enough to avoid the security cos of New Year's day but I saw a lot of stuff for demolishing so I guess its security is strict.Or hopefully they gave up demolishing
Thank you for reading
