I had a unused ticket too use,
but hadnt a thing in Leeds on my exploring list.
So thought about having a visit too the Central viaduct,
nothing special but passed away a few hrs.

The Central viaduct was built in 1844,
by the Great Northern railway (GNr) & is 332 Yards long.
There are 2 over bridges with ornate ballustrades crossing the Aire & Leeds - Liverpool canal,
the remaining structure consists of 15 arches.
The viaduct has been severed at both sides,
closed during 1967.
This was originally the main route from / to Leeds central station,
until it was replaced by todays station.
