Report - Chateau du Noisy, Belgium – April, 2012

After visiting the Chambre du Commerce (see link below for report);

the next day I visited Chateau du Noisy deep in the Belgium countryside. I've read other reports of the place and indeed it's very trashed as other reports have suggested. However there is a mystical charm of the place, perched deep in the countryside with it gothic architecture and grand room and stair case. I spent much of my afternoon here wandering the place. Again I saw other explorers, a Belgium family doing their first explore!

A pretty chilled and relax explore, and some sunshire as well!

My understanding of the history, is that the Chateau was built in the mid-19th century as a grand manor house being used right up to the Second World War when it was then used by the occupying Germans. After the war it was an orphanage until being close a few decades ago, lying empty ever since.
