Cheratte mine operated for 70 years 1907 to 1977, it's oustanding, not only because it's literally on a street in the middle of a town, but also because of the mock mediaeval tower which contains the headstocks and pithead facilities for the older shafts.

We've all seen the photos of this place, it's well worth a visit. Apparently according to some euro pro-fo's we met in there you can pay for a ticket and they let you in. Meh, access all areas under our rules. Free, easy, blink and you'll miss us!

Visited with Doctor Speediosity and Reverand Rigsby of the Blessed Lesbians. Rookinology sat in the car and got busted for flirting with locals. Or something.
