Opened in October 1869, this small hospital originally had a mere seven beds. The land was donated by the Lord Chesham, who continued to donate £200 every year until his death. By 1924, the bed count reached 24, and the hospital had an extension built at an unknown year, possibly during the 1940's. Sadly, threats of closure arose in the early 2000's, and despite intense local opposition it closed in late 2004.

As the name suggests, it is a very small hospital, and sadly very bare and decayed for such a recent closure, but I thought someone might be interested.

The only item of interest remaining in the hospital. Something to do with X-Rays, but I don't know what.
