Initially, I had planned to visit the demolition site of the Central Library with a friend however, security and the crowds from the German Market were against us and we decided to do a nearby building-under-development instead.
The builders were um, building as we ascended and after some nerve-raking moments we got high enough to be 'in the clear':

The long way down.......
The building doesn't have a lot of history; it was owned by Aviva up to 2012 and is 10 stories high. It is currently undergoing (significant!) redevelopment; details here.
