a non standard roc post build into a Martello tower. the post was opened in December 1961 and closed in October 1968. it is located along jaywick beach on a golf course and has been completely sealed. the post would have served itself in terms of aircraft observation. the post has an fsm pipe on both sides of the tower unlike most roc posts which only contain a single fsm pipe.#
