Ok - Cliffe fort has been done loads of times, so i'm going to skip the history side ;-)
After wandering around the wrecks etc at low tide, we took some photo's of the torpedo launch and headed into site. After wandering around for a bit on the top floors the guy loading sand with the digger nearby honked his horn to get my attention. Jumping down from the lookout he shouted up that we had to leave as he was sealing up the entrance, I said not to worry as we'd find another way out.... He then proceeded to dump a few tonne of sand in front of the main entrance (Which I didn't even realise was open lol).
After jumping down to the lower levels and getting photos, I decided to lose the boots and wander around the ground floor - f*ck me the water's cold! Think I lasted about 10 minutes before I gave up and came back up. Anyways - only a few photos as everyone's seen it a million times before!)
