Leaving Pyestock and West park behind and after too long on the M25 we headed back to sheffield...some sleep then up at 2:30am, leaving the bugmobile at meadowhall, we met up with Host, oldskool and hidden shadow and headed to Clipstone colliery......Climb the headstocks for sunrise, explore the rest afterwards.
I managed to find a couple of old images of the site
I'd never climbed a headstock before and was looking forward to something new, tiredness took over and i woke up to hear someone say "there they are". My first glimpse of clipstone headstocks....
So after we had enjoyed the sunrise, we headed down and onto the main buildings...

After lots of button pushing, lever pulling and general control panel fun we moved on.......
