Report - Clune Park Primary School Port Glasgow

This School was built in 1887 and closed in 2008. The School was built for the families of the local shipyard workers. It was left abandoned for a few reasons, 1. the decline in shipbuilding made alot of people move from the area. 2. and a new school was built in a different part of the town.

It's a beautiful place this, I heard it's sealed now though.

That's also the most Scottish bit of graffiti I've ever seen.

It's a stunning place and glad I got to see it. I heard it was sealed. But then saw recent pics of it

I really liked the whole area around here. I didnt get chance to do the school first time round so did it next time i was passing. A nice site for what it is.
