Report - Compound by the sea, Tai O, Lantau Island, Hong Kong, August 2018

Another re-visit on Lantau Island in the fishing village of Tai O. Still not too sure what this compound and couple of buildings were used for. They sit right next to the seaside near the pier by the former Police Station. I think they may be something to do with water supply. The buildings have been abandoned for some time and have no clues to hint what their former usage may have been. Nothing epic architecturally - just fascinating how nature has tried to claw it back.

Nice one, looks a similar era as a lot of the derelict schools on Lantau with the ceiling fans.

It does doesn't it? Sadly didn't get time to look round the massive empty school in Mui Wo.

8km long water tunnel - that's insane! Usually Summer that I'm around so that might be a no-go....
