Went in here the other day, very easy to find as you can see it from the Rd,
Bit dodgy geting to in this weather though as the chalk is very very slipery.

This was a small underground shelter used by the cooper family from Portsmouth.
The Coopers owned most of the area around there.
Origionally adapted from a Smugglers cave just before WW2.

It has 2 entrances, the main brick one and a smaller escape exit joined by a conecting tunnel.

I havn't seen another post on here about this one.

Tied this in with a visit to the WW2 Radio station which is closeby.
