This was a pretty fabulous place. It took two visits of many hours each to feel reasonably certain that all was seen.
This was a country club...the first one built by IBM for it's employees. They ended up building many of them in many states of U.S., and in many countries.
This one was sold off when IBM started losing in the computer era...and the first group that bought it had the misfortune to have it flooded and wrecked.
One of the investors felt the others were screwing him on the insurance, and he called a bogus meeting in Philadelphia...250 miles away, and he shot 3 of the other investors, all over issues relating to the ruination of this place.
So: how bought some ruination then:
1: Bowling alley:
2)back exterior...the golf course is now NOT part of the property so it is kept up:
3)mic on a podium below the ruined gym stage:
4)this seems like miles away within the building, but the control to the mic
5) bathroom:
6)yee olde article from about 1940 of a plane landing on golf course
7)gym flood damage
8)podiums under the stage:
9)pools
10)gym
11)relaxing by the fire:
12)ballroom
13)tennis
14)this front portion dates to early 1800's
15)this ought to do it:
