Well, the brand spanking new County Asylums page (you remember the old one fondly, I'm sure) will finally launch tomorrow - lots of hard work (mostly for others, including Tumbles and TheTimechamber, as well as Pete, who created the original site), but we have new histories written for every County Asylum, plus a few other asylum types, loads of information, and masses of photos, many of which even we had never seen before.
You can find it (tomorrow) at www.countyasylums.co.uk
Here's a one shot each from most of the asylums I've been into over the past 6 years (capped it at 30), to, ummm, get you in the mood. Quality varies wildly, of course. The Scottish ones aren't on the site yet, but they will be eventually.
Most were explores, a few permission visits, many solo, and only one other 28DL forum member (Rookinella) around for any of these (I'm not sociopathic, it has just worked out that way!).
