HISTORY
Cow Dyke Farm is a derilict farm complex located between Killinghall and Harrogate in North Yorkshire that has been unoccupied since 2010.
The farm has been the victim of two suspected arson attacks in recent years. There was a fire at the farm in late 2017, which started in one of the derelict outbuildings on the site. The fire destroyed the shed and spread to a hedge, but was extinguished by firefighters very quickly.
Then, on Sunday 21st January 2018, another fire tore through Cow Dyke Farm, which started when a small amount of rubbish was deliberately set alight in a kitchen inside one of the buildings. Officers from North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the fire had caused damage to around 70% of the complex.
As of January 2020, Rowan Green Developments are constructing a 180-home housing estate on the 21.7 acres of land around the farm.

EXPLORE
A very local explore for me, I travel very near this place most days so knew I had to get round to checking it out. I didn't realise that some of the housing estate had actually been finished, which meant that there were windows overlooking my exploits as I ventured up to the farm. Thankfully, I got away with it.
The first building I came to is the one which suffered the devestating fire. Almost everything inside has been charred to a crisp. It was a very windy day, and it literally felt like it was going to come crashing down at any moment, so didn't stick around in there for long!
Next, I checked out main farm buildings which weren't too damaged. Some have been bricked up but managed to have a good look around. Access inside required a somewhat risky climb through a smashed window. There is still alot of stuff hidden away in there such as car engines, tools, paints and appliances, albeit caked in cobwebs and bird shit. When checking out the last outbuilding, i almost got spotted by a passing tractor and decided to make my escape.
Thanks for looking. Let me know what you thought to the pics, tried my best considering the condition of the place.
