1991 Closure.

On my way to a job yesterday I just couldn't resist looking at the odd ROC Post :thumb

This one is just off the A1 and I knew I shouldn't risk it as soon as I saw it. The place is completely overgrown with thorn bushes, stingers and brambles.

The post itself is incredibly hard to get to. The hatch is broken and very hard to lift. Inside it's in nice condition, loads of paperwork and someone has put train pictures on the wall. Not a post I want to visit again.

A brick built aircraft post sits nearby completely enveloped by the scrub.

Back in the days when we had a rotating image banner, this was one of them:

Glad to see that things haven't be moved around too much in almost 18 months.
