Whilst working down south I couldn't not explore this fine place..

Visited with one of my employees, who was happy to come along, after our visit he signed up to the forum as Rikxplorer.

Crookham court school has a colourful past, this building is in really great condition, only the odd roof leak here and there, and some fu**er's robbed the fireplace's, but apart from that it's one of the better ones :thumb

Some history:

There has been a large house on this site since the 17th century, the current manor house is the third build on this site. In its hay-day this estate was about 2000 acres. Originally owned by the Tull farming family, the land was sold off in 1939, shortly becoming a school for the children of American soldiers during the second world war. After which this site became a boarding school which was closed after a sex scandal. The main building was then converted into a number of flats which were inhabited up until the late 80's.

Plans are in progress at the moment for redevelopment which is due to take place early next year.
